Mt. St. Helens is a ways away from the Portland Streetcar. You can see what's left of this volcano after its eruption in 1980 from Portland but today's lead photo is a closer view of it. And back on the streets of Portland, Mike Gold and Peter Schutte stopped to chat with me. Later I came across a bicyclist with one of the longest beards I've seen in awhile.
