Tale of Two Parks

Jamison Square

Tanner Springs

Take the Portland Streetcar and you'll go by these two parks in the Pearl District ~ Jamison Square and Tanner Springs. They both have a water feature. Jamison Square's fountain is a magnet for children people and the entire park is filled with activity. On the other hand, Tanner Springs offers an opportunity to enjoy the quiet of the pool of water, stretches of lawn to relax and read. Although Jamison Square generally has more people, Tanner Springs has its regulars and is also frequented by numerous people, just not as many. For all of the images from these parks, click here.
