Yes, this is a shot from Northwest Las Vegas – clearly I'm not in Portland. Duty calls for a week so the blog could go dormant or I could post alternatives as I did for the weekend in San Francisco. The week will not be your classic casino Las Vegas Adventure. Today I went to the outer reaches of suburban Las Vegas and found a bit of the old ecosystem fenced in by rail-like transmission poles.
