Hot Lips in the Pearl here in Portland is a frequent stop for Voice from the Couch and me. The vegan focaccia slices are some of the best in town. Plus the Chihuahua Mafia also loves the place -- they're welcome at the outside tables and the inside hallway shared with Laughing Planet. Both of these restaurants are local establishments. The Lips are big and bold and hold your attention.
Cold has been the theme for Portland weather but I was really shocked to find that the bottle of water I had purchased at Office Max was frozen. Note to self, bring water. The balloon and rusted water fountain were right there. To see the other photos from the stops
